Discussing the Potential of Nature Based Solutions (NBS) in Enhancing Conservation in Africa

The AGNES in partnership with other stakeholders convened the first virtual meeting to deepen understanding the concept of NBS in the context of Kenya and how that understanding could help inform integration of NBSs into Kenya’s long-term low carbon development pathways (LTS) and updated Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs). This meeting was useful as participants exchanged views on their understanding of the concept of NBS and the importance of its inclusion in the country’s LTS and updated NDCs.
